Job Description

Document Controller | Engineering & Facilities Projects

Oxford area, OX4 | On-site

We’re hiring a Document Controller to take ownership of engineering and facilities documentation across multiple projects and operational assets.

This is a key role supporting project delivery, handover, and long-term asset management.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and controlling engineering documentation, drawings, and records
• Owning document control procedures, version control, and compliance
• Coordinating O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and handover packs
• Administering the electronic Document Management System (DMS)
• Managing CAD drawings and revision control
• Supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory readiness
• Working closely with engineers, contractors, and asset management teams
• Improving document workflows and digital standards

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in document control within engineering, construction, or facilities
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience with CAD drawings and electronic DMS platforms
• Understanding of project handover and O&M documentation
• Confident working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Eligible to work in the UK and commute to Oxford
