Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to support a large-scale energy project based in Stockholm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining all project documentation in line with company standards and project requirements.
This role is critical to ensuring accurate document flow between stakeholders, maintaining compliance, and supporting efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the document control system for the project
- Manage the receipt, registration, distribution, and filing of all project documents
- Ensure all documents comply with project standards and naming conventions
- Maintain up-to-date document registers and tracking logs
- Coordinate document workflows between engineering teams, contractors, and clients
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing documentation
- Control and track revisions, approvals, and version history
- Ensure proper archiving and retrieval of documents
- Support audits by providing accurate and traceable documentation records
- Generate regular document control reports for project management
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Document Controller, ideally within energy, construction, or infrastructure projects
- Experience working on large-scale or multi-disciplinary projects
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, Documentum)
- Strong knowledge of document control processes and standards
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
