Document Controller
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Document Controller to join a leading, award-winning architecture practice. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track documents including drawings, reports, RFIs, specifications, and schedules
- Set up and manage Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as Asite, Viewpoint, Union Square, or Autodesk Docs
- Ensure accurate registration, filing, revision control, and QA checks of project information
- Maintain trackers, schedules, and compliance reports
- Support project delivery by managing MIDPs and TIDPs
- Provide training and support for project teams using document control systems
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve coordination issues
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650-2 and contribute to continuous improvement of internal systems
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Document Control role
- Strong knowledge of multiple document control systems and CDEs (e.g. Asite, Aconex, Union Square, Autodesk Docs)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Familiarity with construction/architectural workflows and ISO standards
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems quickly
