Document Controller

We're Hiring on Behalf of Our Client in Norwich - Document Controller



Location: Norwich

Start Date: 28/07/2025 - 30/01/2026

Hours: 40 per week (Temporary Role)

Pay: £17.30 per hour



We're recruiting on behalf of a respected client based in Norwich, a well-established organisation in the motor industry, who is looking for an experienced Document Controller to join their team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:



Documentation Management - Oversee the lifecycle of project documentation via Aconex, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project protocols.



Tracking & Distribution - Handle all incoming and outgoing documentation through Aconex and SharePoint, ensuring correct tracking and distribution.



Register Maintenance - Maintain document control registers, manage revisions, and archive documents according to best practices.



Review Coordination - Utilise Bluebeam Revu to support document reviews and facilitate feedback loops.



Team Collaboration - Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain smooth and compliant document workflows.



Process Implementation - Support the setup and monitoring of document control processes aligned with quality plans and contractual requirements.



On-site Documentation - Ensure document control procedures are effectively followed during construction activities.



Requirements:



Essential:



Proven experience in a Document Controller role within engineering or construction projects



Strong working knowledge of Aconex and Microsoft SharePoint



Understanding of document control standards and ISO 9001



Excellent organisational and communication skills



Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite



Desirable:



Experience in infrastructure or utilities projects



Background in site-based or contractor-facing roles



Familiarity with construction workflows and terminology



Training in quality or records compliance
