College of Nursing announces the development of Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP programs). The College of Nursing is seeking a DNP Operations Manager who is enthusiastic about assisting with the development and administrative management of these DNP programs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with project management, budgets, data collection and analysis, and other administrative duties.
About the Job:
This is a full-time, 12-month position with the graduate (DNP) programs in the College of Nursing. This is an exempt staff position. This position works closely with the Dean and DNP Program Directors. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Program Operations & Administration
- Managing daily operations of DNP programs, ensuring smooth coordination between faculty, DNP leadership teams, students, and university partners.
- Maintaining academic calendars, course schedules, and operational timelines in coordination with faculty and university departments.
- Maintaining student data and files, faculty files, and meeting minutes.
- Organizing program events, including and immersions, commencement, advisory board meetings, and other events as they arise.
- Maintaining and updating program handbooks, policy documents, and the DNP student portal (e.g., specific Canvas sites, etc).
- Data & Compliance
- Tracking program data including enrollment, student progression, graduation, and certification/licensure pass rates.
- Supporting compliance efforts with accrediting and certifying bodies (e.g., ACNM, CCNE, COA, Oregon State Board of Nursing).
- Assisting with preparation and submission of accreditation documents and annual reports.
- Communication & Partner Support
- Serving as a primary liaison between the DNP program and university offices such as admissions, registrar, financial aid, and marketing.
- Serving as the primary liaison in the interview and hiring process for faculty.
- Coordinating timely and engaging student-facing communication with the Clinical Placement team, admissions, and other campus partners.
- Budgeting and Contracts
- Monitoring program budgets in collaboration with the College of Nursing leadership.
- Processing reimbursements through Concur, managing contracts, and travel arrangements for interviewees and guest speakers.
- Managing procurement of program supplies and equipment through BruinBuy.
- Managing relationships and payments with independent contractors and vendors.
- Managing contracts and payments for software and licensing.
- Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
- By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
- Demonstrating awareness, respect, and appreciation for of culture, background, , , political views, expressions of faith, etc. and works well with a variety of people.
- Other duties as assigned.
We're looking for candidates who have:
- The ability to work independently on projects and produce exemplary work
- Minimum of five years of administrative operations or project management experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a church. In addition, employees agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.
Preference will be given to those who have the following attributes:
- Administrative operations experience in higher education.

- Hours Per Week: 40 hours (1.0 FTE).
- Primary Work Location: Portland Center Campus.
- Working Conditions: Physical requirements are those of a normal office environment.
