Director / VP Business Development (M/W/X)

Your mission We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to lead our efforts in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, team leadership, and forging strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients. This role requires a combination of market insight and curiosity, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in driving revenue growth. The position is targeted to take over the responsibility of the VP Sales, who is phasing into retirement in the 2 nd half of 2025. Key Responsibilities : Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our customer base, grow our revenue funnel and secure NRE/ development contracts Lead, mentor, and scale the business development and regional sales teams to drive organizational success. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product development to develop our go to market strategy. Your profile Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus. Proven work experience as a Business Development Director or similar role in sales/marketing in custom technology hardware related technology fields. Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
