Your Role as a Maintenance Director:

• Oversee and perform maintenance and repair of facility equipment, systems, and grounds to ensure a safe, functional, and attractive environment

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding building safety and maintenance

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution

• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff, providing clear direction and training as needed

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and equipment inventories

• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and inspections

• Support a positive and welcoming environment for , families, and staff through high-quality facility upkeep

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a maintenance-related field

• Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting

• Knowledge of building systems, mechanical operations, and preventative maintenance practices

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems efficiently and safely

• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with experience supervising staff

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
