Director, Engineering

Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of engineering, procurement, and construction for renewable, thermal, and energy storage projects on greenfield and brownfield sites.
- Conduct technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and value engineering to optimize project design, cost, and schedule.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering and EPC oversight team across multiple projects.
- Oversee procurement and vendor management for major equipment packages, ensuring alignment with project requirements and long-term performance.
- Direct commissioning, handover to operations, and coordination with stakeholders, lenders, and regulatory authorities to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related technical field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license and OSHA 30-hour certification required.
- Proven experience leading utility-scale renewable projects and thermal/gas through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Deep knowledge of EPC contracting models, grid interconnection, substation design, and relevant codes and standards.
