Job Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Creative Project Management to oversee the planning, development, and execution of our client projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a keen eye for creative details. This is a leadership position, responsible for leading a team of project managers and collaborating with our in-house design team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance, training, and support
- Oversee the planning and execution of all client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
- Collaborate with our in-house design team to develop creative concepts and solutions that meet our clients’ needs and align with their vision
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all project milestones are met
- Communicate with clients to understand their goals and provide regular updates on project progress
- Manage project risks and proactively identify and address any potential issues
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Establish and implement best practices for project management, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to improve our processes and offerings
- Participate in business development activities and contribute to the growth of the company
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, art, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the art and design industry
- Proven experience leading and managing a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for creative details
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project
- Familiarity with design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus
- Passion for and knowledge of art and design
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project scopes
- Strong leadership skills with a positive and collaborative attitude
