Pay: $105,000 – $125,000 per year (Based on Experience)

Allegiance Staffing is partnering with a global leader in advanced magnet technology to hire a Senior Materials Engineer for their Lancaster, PA facility. This key technical role focuses on developing new permanent-magnet materials, improving production processes, and leading innovation in materials science and manufacturing efficiency.What You’ll Do

• Research, design, and implement new magnetic materials and processes
• Develop and optimize formulations for samarium-cobalt materials
• Lead process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma methods
• Support production by troubleshooting melt, mill, powder, press, and sintering processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, and R&D teams
• Provide customer and technical support for product manufacturability and performance
• Drive technical documentation, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Physics (Master’s )
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in materials engineering or related manufacturing field
• Strong knowledge of powder metallurgy, magnetics, and failure analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-tracking tools (MS Project, Celoxis etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project-management skills
