“Join our team as a Digital Template Technician – travel California, work with precision laser tools, and grow your career!”

Are you precise, detail-oriented, and ready to grow your skills in the countertop industry? West Coast Countertops Inc. is seeking a Digital Template Technician to join our team. You’ll use state-of-the-art laser templating equipment to capture exact dimensions for countertop installations and gain cross-training as a backup CNC Operator.

What You’ll Do

• Create accurate digital templates with a laser templating system, following homeowner and contractor specifications.

• Coordinate with the scheduler and homeowners to ensure timely and professional appointments.

• Travel throughout California to job sites (overnight stays required).

• Represent West Coast Countertops with professionalism, integrity, and customer-first service.

• Maintain accurate project documentation and communication with the office team.

• Follow company safety guidelines, traffic laws, and professional appearance standards.

• Assist as needed in shop and warehouse operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided).

• Strong math skills and ability to read a tape measure.

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn software and equipment.

• Professional communication skills in English (written & verbal).

• Ability to lift 75 lbs. and work in varied environments, including construction sites and warehouses.

• Dependability, punctuality, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

• Hands-on fieldwork across California with travel per diem.

• A mix of job site visits, warehouse/shop work, and office communication.

• Exposure to construction environments (noise, dust, weather).
