Job Description

Role Summary

The Digital Services Software Engineer – Coder will focus on hands-on software development, implementation, and testing of in-vehicle digital services. This role aligns with ASPICE levels 3, 4, and 5, emphasizing coding, integration, and verification activities.

The engineer will develop embedded software supporting digital vehicle features such as Dog Mode, Dash Cam, Remote Camera Access, Camera Recording, and Maintenance Alerts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded software code for automotive digital services
  • Implement detailed designs based on system and architectural requirements
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and qualification testing
  • Support ASPICE compliance (Levels 3, 4, and 5)
  • Collaborate closely with architects and validation teams
  • Participate in CI/CD workflows and version control processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in C++
  • Working knowledge of Python ()
  • Experience developing software for embedded or automotive systems

Must-Have Skills

  • Software coding using VS Code, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools
  • Unit testing using Google Test, Parasoft C++ Test, or similar
  • Static code analysis and debugging
  • Software integration and verification testing
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines
