Role Summary
The Digital Services Software Engineer – Architect will be responsible for software architecture, high-level design, and technical leadership for in-vehicle digital services. This role focuses on ASPICE levels 1, 2, and 6, ensuring compliance, quality, and scalable architecture across automotive systems.
The engineer will work on embedded software that runs directly in the vehicle and supports digital services such as Dog Mode, Dash Cam functionality, Remote Camera Access, Camera Recording, and Maintenance Alerts.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and interpret software requirements and system-level specifications
- Lead software architectural design for in-vehicle digital services
- Ensure ASPICE compliance (Levels 1, 2, and 6)
- Provide technical guidance to development and testing teams
- Oversee software integration, qualification, and validation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-domain automotive teams (ADAS, infotainment, connectivity)
- Support OTA-enabled software design and lifecycle management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience (8–10 years strongly )
- Strong proficiency in C++
- Solid experience across the full software development lifecycle
- Experience creating and interpreting software architecture and UML diagrams
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitHub
Must-Have Skills
- Software requirement analysis and interpretation
- Software architectural and high-level design
- Static code analysis and unit testing (Parasoft C++ Test, Google Test, or similar)
- Software integration and qualification testing
- UML modeling using Enterprise Architect or similar tools
