Diesel Road Call & Shop Mechanic

We are looking for a Diesel Road Call & Shop Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment. We provide lunch Tuesday - Friday, the shop has AC and a great work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Repair garbage trucks on the road and/or in the onsite mechanic shop
• Knowledge in electrical and air brake systems a plus
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to route

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must have your own tools and reliable transportation
