What You’ll Do

As a Service Shop Foreman, you’ll be the lead mechanic and mentor for technicians. You will:

• Oversee a team of 8-12 technicians, ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, helping them improve their skills.

• Assist in recruitment, training, and motivating technicians to ensure exceptional service.

• Road test vehicles and perform quality control checks to ensure repairs meet our high standards.

• Manage warranty claims and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment, ensuring the proper care of equipment and tools.

• Listen to customer’s description of vehicle problem to determine possible solutions and work procedures.

• Delegate and distribute work to applicable qualified technician and ensure allotted repair hours are known prior to work beginning.

• Provide technical support for technicians when necessary.

• Provide complete understanding to assigned technician of work to be done on the customers vehicle and time allotted to perform the work.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of related experience or a combination of education and training.

• Ability to supervise and motivate a team

• Valid Driver’s License (must meet company insurability standards)

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing & walking
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs

Bonus Points For:

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

• State Inspector Certification ()
