Summary:

We are looking to grow with qualified and motivated employees for our position of Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic. The ideal candidates will possess strong electrical/technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working with heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmission systems, hydraulic systems, and other components of drilling, and heavy construction equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Interpret diagnostic test results to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Utilize technical manuals, diagnostic equipment, and other tools to troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Always adhere to safety procedures and guidelines in the performance of duties.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably working with heavy oil field equipment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, diesel engines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Compressor and generator experience preferably.
  • Skid steer, backhoe, and telehandler experience preferable.

Requirements:

  • 10-12 Hour Shifts; Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
  • At least 3 years of mechanical knowledge .
