Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest prvately held fleets in the U.S., is hiring Diesel Mechanics /Fleet Technician A's at our shop Martin Brower in Enfield, CT.

Shift: Full-Time l Sunday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Friday from 2:00pm-12:30am OR

                         Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday from 4:00pm-12:30am

Pay: $33.00-$37.00/HR based on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities: 

• The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems 
• As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system 
• You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls 
• You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy" 
• You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam) 
• You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety 
• Other duties as assigned 

Required Education and Experience: 

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience 
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds 
• Must have a valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
