Job DescriptionJob Description
We are looking for a Diesel Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of 60+ school buses.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and service school vehicles
- Specialize in vehicle transmission systems, brakes, engines, electrical and DEF Systems
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quarterly inspections
- Prepare for biannual vehicle inspection
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and grow in your craft
- Previous experience as a diesel tech
- Knowledge of shop lift, alignment machines etc
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must provide your own tools
