Position Summary

Emir Repair Shop is hiring a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. No prior experience is required — we are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Pay is $18.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience level and skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment: oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, fluid checks
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues: engines, brakes, electrical, cooling, suspension, and hydraulics.
• Repair or replace parts under supervision, including belts, hoses, filters, brakes, etc.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults.
• Maintain tools, work area, and equipment; ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; ensure all repairs meet safety standards.
• Keep records of maintenance and repair work performed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Mechanical aptitude; ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn; open to on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift heavy parts, stand for long periods, work in varying temperatures.
• Reliable, punctual, good communication skills, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
