Diesel Mechanic

Shift: Monday thru Friday (approx. 7am to 4pm)

*Perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance on trucks, trailers, and support vehicles
*Assign jobs to technicians on the floor
*Review work orders for accuracy, including work performed and diagnostics
*Review all estimates to ensure proper cost is correct with backup from estimates and put time limits on all repairs
*Review and provide all purchase orders to payables department and obtain proper signatures for all purchase orders
*Communicate job status to all department managers and directors
*Adhere to manufacturer's warranty policies and procedures
*Investigate and resolve a variety of problems

Qualifications:
*Knowledge in safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lift, hoist, and jacking equipment
*Knowledge of vacuum pumps and blowers for specialty equipment
*Basic computer skills, such as Microsoft office
*Must be consistently capable of independently analyzing and safely resolving issues
*Ability to work in fast paced environment
*Ability to work well alone and oversee other employees
*Valid Class A License ()
*Strong written, verbal and telephone skills are a must
