Our growing shop seeks a mechanic to join our talented team of Diesel mechanics and service technicians. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assessing vehicle components ranging from hydraulic systems to air conditioning units. Compensation:

$45 - $50 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills
• Perform system inspections, test drives, and diagnostic tests to determine necessary repair work
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service history
• Remedy mechanical problems and malfunction codes that are identified in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems
• Provide preventive maintenance work like replacing brake pads, adjusting fluids, rotating tires, completing oil changes, and servicing the air conditioning

Qualifications:

• Experience and manual dexterity using hand tools and other equipment is needed
• An associate's degree from a vocational or technical school and/or ASE certification are a plus
• Required state-issued driver’s license
• Must be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethic
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
