Pinnacle Recruitment currently have a role for a Development Engineer / Structural Engineer for a Client Side Developer.
This particular Developer is based near Reading, Berkshire and is working for one of the best names in the industry. The build are generally apartment blocks and mix use blocks and will contain a high end product.
The role for a Development Engineer will support the delivery of residential developments—ranging from traditional housing to RC-frame apartment schemes—by managing all engineering, infrastructure, and technical design elements from land feasibility through to construction, reporting into the Lead Engineer/Head of Engineering. The role includes managing statutory approvals, coordinating consultants, supporting infrastructure design, and ensuring engineering solutions are cost-effective, buildable, and compliant with planning and adoption requirements.
Within the role the successful candidate will be managing the process and consultant engineers and liaising with the relevant parties for:
Highway Approvals & External Works Coordination
Drainage Design, Approvals & Adoptions
Structural & Architectural Coordination
Surveys, Investigations & Site Assessment
Utilities Coordination
Engineering Budgeting & Cost Control
The ideal candidate will need to be:
* Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* Experience within residential development, engineering consultancy, or housebuilding.
* Strong understanding of UK planning, adoption and regulatory frameworks.
* Competent in interpreting geotechnical, structural and engineering reports.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
* Understanding of RC-frame structural principles.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
