Development Engineer in PE1

Job Description

Location: Peterborough\n\nRate: £43.00 FCSA Umbrella (Inside IR35) or £31.50 PAYE\n\nDuration: 12months (likely to extend)\n\nWe are currently seeking a Development Engineer to join a global automotive company based in Peterborough working on their new product line. You will be focused on design to meet challenging requirements, New Product Introduction and new automotive technology. The successful candidate will play a key role on assignments, working closely with teams across global manufacturing sites, as well as with suppliers and customers.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Knowledge of one or more Core Engine systems: Rotating Systems, Valvetrain, Castings, Lubrication, Breather and Cooling systems, Bolted joint or sealing.\n\n * Development experience in a relevant industry/role.\n\n * Good understanding of manufacturing principles & processes.\n\n * Development experience of mechanical components and systems, including both rig and complete system testing
