The Design Project Manager leads planning and coordination efforts across architecture, engineering, or design-build projects. Acting as the primary client contact and accountable for overall project success, this role ensures design efforts align with schedule, budget, and quality goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout all project phases
  • Prepare, negotiate, and finalize contracts for professional design or design-build services
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive project plans
  • Ensure alignment with project scope, budget, program requirements, and quality standards
  • Translate complex technical information clearly for clients, teams, and contractors
  • Maintain and track design schedules to ensure timely project delivery
  • Forecast staffing needs and coordinate multidisciplinary team resources
  • Manage project financials, including invoicing, tracking, and profitability oversight
  • Facilitate coordination between internal teams and external partners
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
