Job Description
At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a Design Manager to Join a Pharma Project in Surrey \n\nResponsible for the planning, design and delivery of the project. Working as part of a team, lead for the Project BIM Coordinators. Liaising and coordinating with Dornan Engineers, Design Teams and 3rd party contractors.\n\nDevelop the project program and BIM delivery strategy and to manage workload of project Revit Technicians.\n\nAs a Design Manager and member of the BIM team, Design Manager will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values; integrity, dependability, safety, pride, quality.\n\nYour day to day will include:\n\nManage / Co-ordinate the BIM team\n\nLiaising, collaborating coordinating with 3rd Party Contractors and designers\n\nChair Weekly Coordination Meetings and Breakout Workshops\n\nManage Master Revit MEP Model\n\nProduce weekly Updates of Navisworks Model and issue Clash Detection Reports\n\nWork with 3rd Party Contractors and designers to resolve clashes\n\nGenerating full 4D and 5D model\n\nAll other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your manager\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\nDetailed knowledge of the BIM Lead role\n\nCommercial understanding\n\nHealth, Safety and Environmental systems\n\nKnowledge of the teams strengths and weaknesses\n\nWhy Dornan?\n\nOur commitment to our employees development - we offer career progression pathways, always seeking opportunities to promote and upskill our people.\n\nHealth & Wellbeing - Fostering health and wellbeing is paramount to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
