Design Manager - Cladding - Essex/London/Hybrid

The Company

• My client are a Leading Specialist in façade remediation and recladding projects, focused on delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality solutions for residential and public sector buildings.
• The business works closely with housing associations, local authorities, and key stakeholders to manage complex projects from design through to completion.
• Known for its collaborative approach and technical expertise, the company is committed to improving building safety and enhancing communities through innovative and sustainable practices.
• HQ based in Mid Essex with a strong presence in London.

The Role - Design Manager (Cladding)

My client are looking for a talented Design Manager to join our team.

If you’re passionate about cladding / recladding and making a real impact in a vital sector, this could be the opportunity for you.

What you’ll do:

Lead the design process from concept through to delivery, ensuring compliance and quality.

Develop a robust, cost effective and buildable design solution

Production of technical submissions

Proactive management of the Design House and other design partners on the project

Management of IRS, RFI's and Comment Tracker

Compliance with Building Regulations and other relevant standards

☑Experience as a Design Manager within the cladding sector

☑Strong understanding of building regulations, compliance, and technical design.

☑Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

☑A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

*Previous experience in façade cladding / remediation is essential*
