About the role…

As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design aspects of our projects, ensuring that all designs are delivered to the highest standards and align with client requirements and industry regulations.
As a Design Manager you will…
Leading and managing the design team to deliver high-quality designs for utility infrastructure projects.
Reviewing, commenting on, and approving design documents related to new projects. Ensuring all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of designs into project plans. Managing design schedules and ensuring timely delivery of design packages.Identifying and mitigating design risks throughout the project lifecycle. Providing technical guidance and support to the design team and continuously improving design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
About you…
Degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field and membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, IET).Extensive experience in design management within the utilities or construction sector. Strong understanding of utility infrastructure design principles and standards. Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to the role. Experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams.
