Design Engineer in Whitstable

Product Innovation Engineer / Whitstable / Hybrid / Permanent /
 Up to £80,000 Basic Salary
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Innovation Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This role is ideal for someone with experience in prototype engineering experience and experience developing new products in an engineering space.
 
Key Responsibilities

Designing and developing prototype products
Work with the testing team to ensure products meet guidelines and amending prototype specifications
Work closely with internal teams to ensure designs meet the correct requirements
Conduct investigations on failed prototype tests
Presenting concepts and technical details to internal teams 
Requirements

Previous experience within a product development or prototype engineering position
Higher Certificate or Degree in an Engineering field
Experience using SolidWorks or a similar 3D CAD software
Background within manufacturing, engineering, or mechanical environments
Good communication and presentation skills 
 Package:

Basic salary up to £80,000
25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
