- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes (CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, casting, or stamping).
- Experience applying GD&T and tolerance analysis to ensure design accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to lead design projects, communicate technical information clearly, and collaborate across departments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with mechanical product development in automotive, consumer goods, or industrial equipment industries.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Familiarity with FEA, CFD, or other simulation tools to validate design performance.
- Experience with PLM, PDM, or ERP systems for engineering change management.
- Background in prototype development, testing, and validation methods.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
