Design Engineer in PE1

Job Description

Location: Peterborough\nRate: £38.50 FCSA Umbrella (Inside IR35) or £28 PAYE\nDuration: 12 months (Likely to extend)\nWe are actively seeking a Design Engineer for a global automotive company in Peterborough. You will be responsible for the design and development of components and assemblies, including engine rigging systems, mechanical systems, driveline components, and bespoke test rigs.\nThe ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of 3D CAD design using CREO, engineering drawings, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), supported by practical design and engineering experience.\nRequirements:\n * Engineering degree with a mechanical bias or equivalent.\n * Previous experience of using Creo CAD and Teamcenter.\n * Geometric tolerancing knowledge.\n * Ability to understand detailed drawings and technical specifications.\n * Good fundamental knowledge of Engines
