Design Engineer Mechanical

We are seeking a Design Engineer Mechanical to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed designs and documentation of custom heat exchangers and be responsible for the initial design of concepts, prototypes, and production heat exchangers in 3D CAD tool.

Responsibilities:

• Design solid models, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs within customer and manufacturing constraints
• Work hands-on to identify problems during new product development and/or when quality concerns arise
• Create/review/maintain engineering change orders
• Analyze mechanical designs using hand calculations and FEA
• Review designs for continuous improvement opportunities as requirements and manufacturing capabilities change

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
• Familiarity with CAD or other related software
• Deadline and detail-oriented
