Job Description
My client is looking for an experienced Design Engineer to work from home on a hybrid basis on a long term basis.\n\nPaying £400 a shift + Long Term Works + Outside IR35 + Weekly basis\n\nActing as a main contractor my client provides the management and delivery expertise to deliver a multitude of Security biased projects throughout the UK which involve Electrical, CCTV and Access Control systems.\n\nDue to continued expansion, they require someone to join their team working in the Design team.\n\nMain Duties to be carried out include the following:\n\n * Produce detailed security system line drawings as part of an integrated solution\n\n * Produce calculations to support the integrity of the design\n\n * Review completed designs\n\n * Develop our document template library\n\n * Liaise with other designers to enable co-ordination of projects\n\n * Ensure document control requirements are met.\n\n * Explaining designs to engineers and clients\n\n * Writing manuals for maintenance\n\n * Attending site to complete surveys\n\n * Any other duties commensurate with the role\n\nSkills & Experience\n\n * Working Knowledge of AutoCAD\n\n * Working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel\n\n * Trimble (Amtech) design software\n\n * Be able to work off your own initiative\n\n * Attention to detail\n\n * On site practical working knowledge of security systems\n\n * Punctual\n\n * Well organised and methodical\n\nThe Design Engineer role would ideally suit anyone that has a background in the electrical or security sector (CCTV) working on projects to the value of £ 100k –1m.\n\nIn return my client will ensure long term works, healthy day rate and working Outside IR35.\n\nIf you would like to hear more details, please send your CV by email or Tel: (phone number removed) and speak to Simon Bedlow for further information.\n\nKey words: Design Engineer // CCTV // Access Control // Electrical Design Engineer // Design Engineer
