Design Engineer - Special Purpose Machinery



Blackburn – circa £45,000 (DOE) + Benefits - Early Friday finish (12:30pm)



This is your chance to join a respected UK manufacturer of special purpose machinery, known for producing robust, innovative equipment that’s built to last. Their machines are still running strong decades later, a real testament to their engineering excellence mindset.



You’ll be joining a small, close-knit design team where ideas are shared, experience is valued, and the culture is genuinely down-to-earth. Many of the engineers here have been with the business for years, because they enjoy what they do.

What you’ll need:



* 3D CAD design experience (Inventor , but other 3D packages considered)



* Background in special purpose machinery or mechanical design



* A practical, problem-solving mindset



* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
