Our client, are a global leader in Hydraulic Lifting equipment and are seeking an experienced Design Engineerto join their team in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.



To apply for this role, you’ll need a valid UK driving license.



Reporting to the Design Manager, you’ll be responsible for operational processes in the development of and maintaining of Jigs and fixture Design systems . This exciting opportunity involves working within the Design team and will be helping to continuously help improve and grow the in house engineering.



As Design Engineer, your tasks include:



* Lead and facilitate the design, manufacture and implementation of new jigs and fixtures



* Design jigs, fixtures and bespoke equipment in a cost effective manner



* Create BOM’s for all designs and machine user manuals



* Liaise with Design Engineers at MK to drive improvements identified from design for manufacture activities
