Job Title: Design Engineer\nLocation: Derby\nSalary: Negotiable\nHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (3:30pm finish on Fridays)\nType: Permanent, Days Only\n\nWe are looking for a design engineer with a strong mechanical design background to join our team in Derby. This is a permanent, full-time role with a well-established business specialising in bespoke machinery for product handling solutions.\n\nYou'll be using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to design machines used in handling and packaging for some of the world's leading blue-chip manufacturers of biscuits, cookies, and snack foods. Our systems are highly customised and built to handle a wide variety of product shapes and sizes.\n\nWe're open to candidates from different industries, as long as you have solid design experience and proficiency in 3D CAD software.\n\nKey requirements:\n\nProficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD\n\nStrong background in mechanical design\n\nExperience with bespoke machinery or automation systems is desirable but not essential\n\nAble to work independently and as part of a team\n\nWe're flexible on salary and happy to discuss depending on experience.\n\nTo apply or find out more, please get in touch
