Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mars, PA. The Derrick Rig Operator will be responsible for operating equipment on drilling rigs, assisting in rig setup and dismantling, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of rigging systems. Daily responsibilities include inspecting equipment, repairing and maintaining rig components, coordinating with team members, and adhering to all safety procedures and regulations for optimal performance and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in drilling operations, rig equipment operation, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of safety standards, compliance protocols, and environmental regulations related to drilling operations
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adapt to various weather conditions
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid certifications such as Well Control Certification or Rig Pass are
• Experience in oil and gas operations or related fields is an advantage
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications are welcomed
