Demand Planner\n\nAlexander Steele is recruiting a Demand Planner to join a well-established and fast-growing food business based in Northamptonshire. This role ensures the alignment of supply and demand through effective forecasting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Demand Planner to make the next step in their career.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Build excellent working relationship with commercial, marketing and finance team members.\n\n * Monitor demand trends, identify risks in supply fluctuations, and implement mitigation plans to maintain service continuity.\n\n * Develop and align short, medium, and long-term demand forecasts with business goals in partnership with key stakeholders.\n\n * Analyse forecast accuracy by tracking demand vs.

forecast, highlighting variances, and driving corrective actions.\n\n * Report on KPIs including forecast bias, accuracy, and forecast value add (FVA) to support S&OP and continuous improvement.\n\nBackground Experience:\n\n * 4+ years experience in demand planning roles, ideally within a food environment.\n\n * Strong analytical skills with experience in demand planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).\n\n * Must have a strong understanding of S&OP processes and demand planning factors.\n\n * Excellent Microsoft Office Excel skills.\n\n * Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * Paying up to £48,000 (D.O.E) + bonus\n\n * 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n * Excellent company pension\n\n * Private Healthcare\n\n * Monday – Friday (Hybrid)\n\n * areer development opportunities\n\nFor more information regarding this opportunity contact Lomond MacPherson
