We offer a wide range of consultant assignments, featuring many of the most exciting projects in Norway and internationally.DetailsDuration: 01.08.2024 - 31.03.2026 ( and potentially beyond)• Some travel may be required for participation in offsite meetings and/or offshore trips.Location: StavangerAssignment DescriptionA client is looking for a Decommissioning Project Engineer with relevant experience, who can join the decommissioning department to support a portfolio of various (early phase) projects. The role will involve follow up of the projects using guidance from client Business Management System (BMS), performing study scopes, planning and execution of relevant decommissioning activities, in addition to a variety of other interface scopes. The role will also involve support to various decommissioning delivery leads.Main tasks• Support the Decom Delivery Lead in following the BMS requirements for relevant project scopes.• Manage, receive, and review various study scopes of work, including review of study reports with schedules, and cost estimates.• Manage and coordinate interfaces between the Alliance Partners, Strategic Partners, and internal stakeholders.• Active follow up of Alliance Partners, Strategics Partners, and Contractors to ensure Company HSSE expectations are met, working as a safety leader in the relevant scopes.• Perform follow up, coordination and management of smaller / ad-hoc decommissioning activities, running in parallel to main project responsibilities.• Work as an offshore technical representative during offshore scopes of any decommissioning activities.• Participate in HAZIDs/HAZOPs and various project meetings.• Interface with Technical Authorities (TA) to ensure compliance with Functional Requirements.• Ensure that all operations are planned in accordance with Company stakeholder’s expectation (Operations, Technical Authorities, Project Management Teams etc).Qualifications• BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng Structure/Mechanical/Marine Engineering or relevant combination of education and experience.• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience.• Good understanding of decommissioning / removal operations.• Relevant experience with planning and execution of offshore projects.• Experience with marine operations.• Proactive, cooperative and solution orientated mindset.Join Omega 365 Consulting for:Personalized, hands-on support from our dedicated Omega 365 team membersCollaboration with one of Norway's most prestigious consultant firmsGuidance from experienced department managers, facilitating the development of your project expertiseInternal visa assistance and expert advice for EEA/expat consultantsExcellent opportunities to expand your professional network through project involvement and social gatheringsExclusive benefits including access to holiday houses and cabins in picturesque locations such as Hovden, Hemsedal, Geilo, Hafjell, Oppdal, Voss, Vågsli, Sirdal, Gran Canaria, and ThailandDiverse offerings of events including concerts and exciting excursion, both in Norway and abroad.
