Do you love to make a difference in the lives of people who experience developmental disabilities? Wall Residences is seeking a stellar candidate for a Program Manager position with our Group Day program in the Waynesboro, VA area.
Our Wall Group Day Program provides adult individuals with development and intellectual disabilities with a means for structured programs of activity or training. This may include peer interaction and community integration and is designed to enhance the following: self-care and hygiene, eating and toileting, task learning, community resource utilization, environmental and behavioral skills, social skills, medication management (if applicable) and transportation.
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is required. At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD) and two years’ experience supervising employees is .
- Clinical background with working knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports
- The ability to develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff as well as with individuals who receive services and their families
- A background connecting people to meaningful community activities
Telecommuting position with some flexibility. Home office and internet access required. Program Managers are provided with a computer, phone, company gas card, access to excellent training, and continuing education reimbursement. Program Managers are also provided with a company car for travel as needed within a regional area.
