Datacenter Operations Manager

Job Description

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a data center operations, infrastructure deployment, or technical project management role.
• Must have direct, hands-on experience with enterprise-grade DCIM tools (e.g., DcTrack, Nlyte, Sunbird, or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables for tracking large-scale projects and inventories.
• Proven ability to create professional technical diagrams, such as rack elevations and connectivity maps, using Microsoft Visio.
• Demonstrable experience with vendor management, including participating in the RFP process and coordinating the work of third-party technicians.
• Strong project management and logistical skills with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of data center power distribution (PDUs, UPS), cooling dynamics, and structured cabling standards (copper and fiber).
