We're hiring a Data Scientist to support a high-impact NHS programme focused on bowel services. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and NHS data environments, who can deliver actionable insights to improve service performance and patient outcomes.

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

  • Analyse NHS service data to define and measure performance outcomes.
  • \n

  • Develop and optimise queries using Oracle DB and PL/SQL.
  • \n

  • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to assess service delivery.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements.
  • \n

  • Build and validate data models and visualisations to support decision-making.
  • \n

  • Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • \n

\n\nEssential Skills\n

  • Proven experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
  • \n

  • Strong background in data science, analytics, or performance analysis.
  • \n

  • Experience working with NHS data or within NHS programmes.
  • \n

  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • \n
