Your job Design Build Intelligent Pipelines Retrieval Systems: Create and manage scalable data pipelines that connect databases, schemas, and advanced retrieval functions.

Drive Automation: Develop automated systems to deliver insights at scale through smart rule-based retrieval and dynamic content , supporting structured, unstructured, and generated data.
Enable AI Systems: Ensure data and content are efficiently stored, indexed, and accessible via APIs, partner ecosystems, and next-gen AI workflows (e.g., RAG).
Innovate Optimize: Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement, advancing Statista s data and content automation strategy Your skills Experience in Data Engineering, DataOps, or a related Backend Engineering role.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using them for data processing, automation, and system integration.
Experience with API development and frameworks like FastAPI.
Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (ideally AWS).
Solid understanding of containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
Familiarity with NLP and/or AI/ML libraries and frameworks like LangChain or direct experience building Retrieval-Augmented (RAG) systems is a plus A keen interest in the rapidly evolving world of LLMs, prompt engineering, model output evaluation, or autonomous agent systems.
