Your expertise will help us harness trusted and accessible data to meet the UK's ambitious net zero target by 2030.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nData Governance Operations:- Lead and improve the data governance planning cycle.\n - Ensure effective prioritization of BAU and change initiatives.\n - Resolve cross-capability dependencies and escalate risks/issues effectively.\n\nOperational Reporting:- Define and develop KPIs and KCIs for the Data team.\n - Oversee reporting accuracy and consistency.\n - Coordinate Monthly Business Reviews and manage status updates and risks.\n\nBudget and Resource Management:- Manage team budget and vendor relationships.\n - Align data service requests with capability capacity.\n - Ensure onboarding of additional resources as needed.\n\nAbout You:\n\nWe're looking for a visionary leader who is ready to drive our data governance initiatives forward! If you have a background in data management or a related field, and possess the following skills, we encourage you to apply:\n\nRequirements:\n\nBachelor's degree in a data or technical field, or equivalent experience.\nStrong experience in program planning and management within a central data function.\nProven ability to unify disparate workflows towards common objectives.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.\nExperience with data management and protection capabilities is .
