Data Engineer – Ecommerce - £65,000 – Luton (Hybrid)

Leading ecommerce client now requires a Data Engineer to join their talented data platform team. This role will contribute to our client’s overall profitability, using data to increase accuracy and efficiency across key business areas. The role: Developing robust data pipelines/products to ensure that internal teams are enabled to do their best work. Transform and format an array of data. Collaborate with Senior Data Engineers to confirm and define data patterns and standards. Provide quality assurance to the wider data engineering team’s work through processes such as code reviews and TDD. Provide support for data pipelines/products within the data engineering estate. Key Requirements: Strong experience as a Data Engineer using AWS or Azure. Hands-on experience with database engines such as SQL. Prior experience orchestrating data pipelines with Apache Airflow or similar tools. Practical experience building data applications in Python, Scala, or SQL. Understanding of Data Warehousing/Dimensional Modelling concepts. Strong knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as GitHub actions, Jenkins, or similar tools. Practical experience in automated testing and deployment of data pipelines. This fantastic opportunity provides a base salary of £65,000 plus an excellent benefits package. In terms of office location, this role is based out of our clients Luton office with 3 days per week on-site and the rest remote.
