Data Cabling EngineerLocation: OxfordshireContract Length: 12 monthsOverviewWe are currently seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers to join a project based in Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a strong background in structured cabling installations who are available to start immediately.The role will involve working within a commercial environment carrying out the installation, termination and testing of copper cabling infrastructure as part of a wider network deployment project.ResponsibilitiesInstallation of Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cablingTermination of data outlets and patch panelsTesting and certification using Fluke equipmentCable routing and containment workLabelling and documentation of installed cablingWorking to project drawings and site specificationsMaintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safetyRequirementsPrevious structured cabling experienceECS/CSCS cardOwn hand tools and PPEAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience terminating and testing copper cablingStrong attention to detailDesirableIPAFExperience working on commercial, data centre or secure site projectsTPBN1_UKTJ
