We are seeking a Data Architect with strong experience in Salesforce data architecture and Tableau analytics environments.

Role Overview


As a Data Architect, you will lead the design and evolution of enterprise data models that support reporting, analytics, and operational performance across an integrated SaaS and cloud ecosystem. A key component of this role includes architecting data structures that support Salesforce-based platforms and enabling scalable, high-performing analytics in Tableau.

You will define enterprise data standards, support data warehouse or data lake implementations, and ensure data structures are optimized for business intelligence and cross-system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead logical and physical data modeling efforts across enterprise systems
• Design scalable database schemas and enterprise data structures
• Architect Salesforce data models, including object relationships, data governance considerations, and reporting structures
• Design and optimize data models to support Tableau dashboards and analytics solutions
• Define standards for naming conventions, metadata management, and data quality
• Support enterprise data warehouse and/or data lake architecture
• Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and scalability
• Collaborate with engineering, BI, and integration teams to align data design with reporting and operational needs
• Document data architecture artifacts, lineage, and definitions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in data modeling and database design
• Strong expertise in relational database concepts and schema design
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable enterprise data models
• Experience developing and maintaining data architecture documentation
• Experience architecting or supporting Salesforce data models (standard and custom objects, relationships, reporting structures)
• Experience designing data structures to support Tableau reporting and dashboards
• Strong understanding of how operational data structures impact analytics and visualization performance
• Experience integrating Salesforce data into enterprise reporting environments

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise data warehouses or data lakes
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as:
  • Amazon Redshift
  • Snowflake
• Experience implementing dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
• Experience supporting large-scale reporting environments
• Familiarity with data governance and master data management concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work Authorization & Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a U.S.
• Must be eligible for and capable of obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance
• Must be currently residing in the United States
• Must be willing to travel occasionally to Washington, DC for in-person meetings
