We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect to lead data architecture initiatives for a Medicaid Modernization program. The architect will design, implement, and oversee enterprise data strategies that support modernization goals, compliance, and scalability. This role requires deep expertise in data architecture, healthcare data, and modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of Medicaid data architecture, ensuring alignment with modernization initiatives.
  

• Define and maintain data catalogs, lineage, metadata, and warehouse structures.
  

• Develop and manage system-to-system data flows across Medicaid platforms.
  

• Utilize ERwin, ER/Studio, SQL, and NoSQL to design scalable and efficient data models.
  

• Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards across the ecosystem.
  

• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and data teams to ensure system integration and business alignment.
  

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship in data architecture best practices.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  

• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, and database systems.
  

• Strong hands-on expertise with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  

• Proficiency in ERwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent data modeling tools.
  

• Proven ability to design enterprise-level data architecture solutions.
  

• Experience with healthcare IT and Medicaid data strongly .
  

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
