About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Data Analyst to join our dynamic Commercial Operations and Sales Strategy teams. In this hybrid position, you will play a key role in driving both operational efficiency and strategic planning. You’ll serve as the primary expert in transforming raw internal sales data (from SAP ) and various other datasets into powerful, actionable insights. Your analyses and reports will directly inform sales strategy, market positioning, and operational performance, helping leaders make data-driven decisions across the organization. Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually
A Day in the Life

Data Integration & Analysis: Identify data location, extract, clean, and integrate large datasets from internal systems (SAP) and external syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI,) to identify key sales trends, market opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by helping to identify and resolve discrepancies within SAP and other integrated systems.

Reporting & Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain insightful and user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar software to serve both operational and strategic needs.

Sales Operations Insights: Monitor and report on key operational KPIs such as pipeline health, quota attainment, win/loss rates, and sales cycle length. Provide regular updates to sales leadership to drive efficiency.

Strategic Analysis & Planning: Partner with the Strategy team to analyze market trends, competitor performance, and customer segmentation. Support strategic initiatives, territory planning, go-to-market modeling, and long-range planning.

Hybrid Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with Commercial Operations to optimize processes and with the Sales Strategy team to inform planning. Act as a key analytical liaison between sales, operations , and finance.

Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting processes, and overall operational efficiency.
Role Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

1-3+ years of experience in a data analyst, sales analyst, business analyst, or similar role.

Strong experience with SAP, particularly with extracting and working with sales-related modules (e.g., SAP SD - Sales and Distribution).

Proficiency with at least one major data visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.

Solid understanding of SQL for querying and manipulating data. Utilize advanced SQL skills to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from our ERP (SAP) and other systems to support analytical requests.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Power Query, Power Pivot & complex formulas) are essential.
Experience working with and interpreting syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, or other market research data) is a plus. -
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
