Data Analyst III/Learning Systems Analyst
We are pleased to recruit for a company whose corporate purpose is to create chemistry for a sustainable future and has been doing so for 150 years. Their portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas. Their products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. Our client is expanding and seeking a Data Analyst III/Learning Systems Analyst in Spring, TX.
Responsibilities:
· The Learning Systems Analyst designs and supports job role architecture within the Learning Management System (LMS). This role ensures that job roles and competencies are accurately defined and mapped to users, enabling scalable, role-based learning and workforce development.
· The role combines learning systems administration, data analysis, and advisory capabilities and partners closely with global Learning teams and business stakeholders. Success requires strong analytical skills, comfort working directly with LMS data, and the ability to translate business needs into practical, system supported solutions within defined standards and constraints.
· Strong data analysis skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
· Ability to leverage LMS reporting to analyze learning and job role data to deliver data-driven insights
· Support data quality, role structure integrity, and continuous system improvement
· General understanding of the oil and gas industry, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations
· Strong communication, collaboration, and change management skills
· Ability to facilitate discussions with learning teams and subject matter experts to define LMS setup and role structures
Requirements:
· Hands on experience working with an enterprise LMS platform
· 5+ years of experience in learning systems, job architecture, competency frameworks, or learning/talent roles
· Ability to apply general oil and gas industry knowledge when defining job roles, competencies, and learning pathways within the LMS
· Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to approximately 30% must have a passport and able to travel to Nigera, Angola, Canada, etc.
· Able to extract data from LMS and analyze it
· Oil & Gas background
Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in learning systems, data analysis, or HR technology
Location: Spring, TX 77389
Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $65.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Work Schedule: Onsite, Standard - 5 days on / 2 days off - 5 days on / 2 days off
