Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days Onsite, 2 days Remote; Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Travel: Up to 20% travel to California and Arizona
Salary range: $83,000 to $120,000

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Data Analyst to join our Incubator and Innovation team as we advance patient care through advanced technology. In this role, you will work across multidisciplinary functions to extract, de-identify, and analyze healthcare & patient data, providing key insights into patient outcomes, treatment efficacy, and cost optimization. Your work will directly support medical research and the operational strategies of Lifekind Health.
Job Duties:
- Extract and manage large, complex data sets from SQL Server and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support data analysis efforts.
- Apply AI and Generative AI techniques to uncover patterns, predict outcomes, and identify opportunities for innovation in pain treatment.
- Conduct de-identification of patient data in compliance with HIPAA and internal privacy standards.
- Analyze clinical, operational, and cost-related data to generate actionable insights.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including CINO, CIO, CISO, Digital Pathway Analyst, Clinical Research Lead
- Support clinical research studies by supplying relevant data and assisting in the interpretation of results.
- Stay current on industry best practices in healthcare analytics, AI, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a related field. Master degree .
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Expertise in SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure SQL, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics.
- Experience using AI and Generative AI tools for data analysis and insight .
- Knowledge of healthcare data, EHR systems, clinical terminologies (e.g., ICD-10, SNOMED), and privacy regulations (HIPAA).
- Excellent data visualization skills using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Interpersonal and communication skills; able to translate technical findings into business insights.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Skills
- Experience in clinical research or with data supporting outcomes-based healthcare.
- Familiarity with de-identification techniques and tools.
- Prior work in an innovation lab, startup, or fast-paced R&D environment.
